Our Tea & Other Hot Drinks

Want to drink tea at The English Cottage? Here is how we sell our tea. Please note that since the tea shop is not yet up and running, this plan is open to change.

There are two ways you can get tea at the English Cottage, at our tea bar or in our full service tea room. At the tea bar is where you can order tea to go or sit down to enjoy a book out of our built in library. The tea bar is at the front of the store.

In the back of the store is our full service tea room. Be seated at any of our numerous tables and have the tea service brought to you. Tea also comes with scones and tea biscuits with clotted cream and jam.

By the Cup- One tea cup & saucer, a tea ball filled with tea of choice, and a napkin. Water, sweetener, and creamer on side bar.

Tea To Go- One reusable travel mug and a tea bag of choice. Water, sweetener, and creamer on side bar. Discount for bringing your own travel mug. Due to The English Cottage's efforts to be green, no paper cups are available. (For the first couple months of business, paper cups will be available. However, they will be phased out.)

By the Pot- Single serving tea pot with tea of choice, one tea cup & saucer, napkin, and a sweetener & creamer of choice. You may choose whether it is served as a loose-leaf or timed tea.

Tea Service- One or two tea pots with tea(s) of choice, 2-6 tea cups & saucers, napkins, and a sweetener & creamer of choice. You may choose whether it is served as a loose-leaf or timed tea.

Coffee- Because we understand that sometimes coffee is something that people want first thing in the morning, we also have regular and decaf coffee available. If it's awful, we sincerely apologize and hope that you might have some suggestions to make it better. We are tea people, so coffee is not really our forte.
