What are we up to this month? Well, of course, we can't actually answer these questions yet as we haven't opened yet. However here's what we have planned:

Classic English Literature - From Jane Austen and the Romantics to Oscar Wilde to Beowulf and more. The Brit Lit class for those of us no longer in school. This takes place the first Tuesday of every month.

Fantasy & Science Fiction - For the geeks and the inner geeks, discussion of anything from McCaffery, Tolkien, May, Herbert, and more. Takes place the third Thursday of every month.

The English Cottage Book Club - An assigned book every month. This is for people who want to discuss a particular book each month but who don't want to stick to any one particular genre. Takes place the second Wednesday of every month.

There is no fee to join any of these book discussions. However, as sponsored discussions, the current book of the month for these groups is available on shelf in the bookstore.
